So what exactly is ITSM. The definition in Wikipedia is “ITSM is the implementation of quality IT services that meet the needs of customers, and is performed by the IT service provider through an appropriate mix of people, process and information technology.”  ITSM is made up of multiple best practices frameworks  such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 9001. ISO 20000 is the standard that measures an organization compliance with the ITSM principles. In the coming weeks will talk more in-depth about these frameworks and the foundation they set for ITSM.

So thank you for visiting us today and we look forward to your opinions, questions, and your involvement at ITSM Novice.
